How do I use Advantage® Treatment Spray for Cats to kill fleas?
How to spray for fleas:
- Cover your cat's eyes with your hand.
- Do not spray directly on your cat's mouth, nose or eyes. Spray on their head, ears, and chest until damp.
- Using your fingertips, gently rub spray into your cat's face around mouth, nose and eyes.
- Then, spray from neck to tail, finishing legs last.
For best results, especially on heavy-coated cats, direct spray for fleas against the natural lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure the spray thoroughly wets ticks. When used on cats, towel-dry the animal after ½ hour if not totally dry. Take care to avoid contact with genitalia.
Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product on pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, contact your vet immediately.

How do I use Advantage® Treatment Spray to kill fleas on my kitten?
This flea spray for kittens may be used on kittens over 7 months. To use:
- Wrap your kitten in a towel that has been sprayed lightly with flea spray, leaving eyes, nose and mouth exposed.
- Put some spray for on your finger and gently rub around their eyes, nose and mouth area.
- Keep your kitten wrapped for 5-10 minutes.
- Fleas may be removed from the coat by picking or combing.
